This week I almost completed my library project. I’m in a group with Spencer and Caelan. We are making a model of the Kingdom of Hades. We made the land out of an inch of cardboard that is almost impossible to cut. Spencer needed to use an X-acto knife to cut it. He took five or six cuts to make one side of it. We used pink foam core to form the hills and kingdom. It looked very questionable when we hadn’t painted it but its almost completely painted now. We are rivaling Naomi, Samin, and I think Julia too. Personally I think we have the better model because we actually have a river. They drew their river using crayons, and they have a bunch of Harry Potter Lego for people. We put Elysium, the good side of the Underworld, in too. We used fake modeling grass for the good side, and dark red/black paint for the bad side, The Fields of Punishment. I think we will get a four for our effort and time put into it, and the quality of the model.

It has been a while since I last blogged on this site. We haven’t exactly focused on that though. Today we watched our dance performance from last week and I stood out so much because i was wearing a light gray in a sea of brown and green. We also watched a funny dance that Hedayat’s brother did in the dance performance from his class. He looked really happy while doing it though. After we got back to doing math though which I didn’ exactly care about but I still would have preferred if we watched more of Hedayat’s brother.

It’s been a long time sine I’ve posted on this blog. But I’m back to posting. This week I found out I’m able to get a BB gun near the middle of this term. I’m going to choose a FN Herstal P90 replica. It shoots 320 feet per second and fires a .2g BB up to 200 feet. Spencer is also ordering one from the same website that  I am. He is ordering a L89 replica airsoft sniper. It fires at an epic 500 feet per second! He already has a weak one that fires a mere 300 fps and can make a hole in a strong metal beer bottle, then one that can go 500 fps will rip the bottle in half!!

This week we also had substitute teachers for every day this week. We had a pretty fun week with gymnastics, and recess. We forgot to lunch monitor one day thoughbecause we were working on a project. We played some fun games in french where I never went down from the front. I didnt have time to pick someone for a few rounds. We are going to watch paralympic curling on monday too so next week seems like it would be fun.

This week we went curling. It took slightly longer to get there but we made it. I had to sit beside Kobe and Jack on the way there and with Nathan on the way back. It was kind of annoying sitting beside Nathan because he wouldn’t stop talking. I tuned him out with my iPod though. When we got there i had to clean my shoes with a brush because they had lots of dirt on them. The instructor who cleaned my shoes said i have very big feet for my age, which i thought was kind of random. When we started I got a red brush instead of my usual orange brush. I almost got a point with my curling stone but it was knocked out by Kobe who was on my team. We lost at the first game but tied in the second. They beat us 1-0 e first game and then we almost got a point in the second game but we ran out of time. Kobe and I are the best sweepers on our team when we are together so we had a pretty good game for knocking the opponents stones out of the “house”. We had a u time at curling because we got prizes at the end. I got a hacky-sac and so did Caelan. I got a green, red, black, and yellow one while Caelan got a red, white, and black one. We sw a few spills on the ice which must have hurt. I think Rebbeca hit her head because she was holding ice on her head in the seating area. It was a very fun time even though we lot our games.

On wednesday we had mascot day with out buddies. We played games on the olympic site and made a colouring sheet for the kids. All the buddies brought little mascot stuffies. One buddy brought a 2 foot tall Quatchi for mascot day. They later left and coloured their sheets.
